Book Review: Learning to Breathe: My Yearlong Quest to Bring Calm in My Life by Priscilla Warner

Warner’s book is for anyone who has ever experienced bouts of anxiety or panic in their lives.  Ever since she was was a teenager, Warner has had trouble with anxiety attacks and is tired of using medication and alcohol to ease her suffering.    The author decides to tackle her issues by trying several different holistic and meditative techniques in her quest for inner peace.  While trying  the more traditional yoga and meditation, the author also experiments with Trager therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprogramming)  and mikvah, a Jewish ritual bath.  Will Warner succeed in her quest for inner peace?  Read the book and find out!
