Mark Twain: An American Treasure Celebrated in Newburgh

Looking for something to do in the city of Newburgh this summer?  How about finding out more about one of America’s finest authors and national treasures– Samuel Langhorne Clemens, more commonly known as Mark Twain.  The Karpeles Manuscript Museum is currently running an exhibit highlighting the works of the author, in particular The Adventures of Huck Finn and  The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,   until the end of August   The museum is also highlighting the illustrators of Twain’s works.  You might want to read his books and learn more about him before or after you head to the museum.  Here are a few of the books and DVDs available at the library.  Click on the image to reserve the title.
