powerofhabitWhile everyone’s New Year’s resolution is still fresh in their minds, the perfect book to read or listen to is The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg.  Whether you are trying to  break a bad habit or create a new one, the author gives us the tools to keep our resolutions intact.  An investigative reporter for The New York Times, Duhigg has divided the book into 3 sections.  The first and most interesting section deals with the individual and how habits are formed and how to modify a habit.  The second section deals with  how companies use habits to  influence people- whether in their organization or the unknowing consumer.  The last section deals with habits and how they are changed and formed in society.  Here’s some more information  about the book on this trailer:
